Dholera Smart City has been planned to provide a top-notch internal connectivity system enabling residents to move easily throughout the various land uses of the city: residential, commercial and industrial. To achieve this goal, wide multi-lane roads and dedicated utility corridors as well as multiple bicycle tracks and pedestrian pathways would allow for an efficient transportation network; additionally, Smart Traffic Management Systems have also been incorporated into the planning of Dholera’s internal connectivity systems. 

Creating an integrated underground utility system and planning for efficient road infrastructure will enhance overall mobility while providing clean, organized urban environments located throughout Dholera Smart City. Furthermore, the Dholera Master Plan is designed to create an integrated transportation system connecting all major traffic generators; thus allowing for quick access and easier travel between these hubs and neighborhoods. The smart nature of Dholera’s transportation system combined with the future proofing strategy used when designing the urban development of Dholera will create an integrated transportation system that supports business success and daily commuting while providing an excellent standard of living for Dholera’s residents.
