Dholera Smart City is creating a modern, efficient governance structure to provide citizens with a more effective government experience via digital technologies. All smart city operations are managed at ABCD, which is the city’s Administrative and Business Centre (ABCD Building); it is the city’s central command and control centre.

For business people and citizens, the city has launched a streamlined (single-window) digital platform for the on-line application, approval, and permit process for regulatory services related to building a business or living in Dholera Smart City. This helps provide transparency to the citizens of Dholera Smart City by making the application/approval process faster.

In addition to the above capabilities, Dholera Smart City has developed integrated information communication technology (ICT), internet of things (IoT), and other smart city technologies to provide real-time monitoring of utilities (e.g. electricity, water, etc.), traffic management, public or citizen services (e.g. garbage collection, etc.), and safety or security of the inner city areas. These governance solutions support and deliver efficient public services, promote sustainable urban development, and ultimately promote a higher quality of life for all Dholera Smart City residents.
